Aunque este libro fue donde empecé mis estudios del griego, hoy en día hay obras mejores y más actuales. Por ejemplo, «Griego bíblico al alcance de todos» de José A. Septién o «Aprendamos griego» de Clarence Hale. Aunque ha sido una obra tradicional para los estudiantes de habla inglesa, no es recomendable para los estudiantes de habla española pues es muy difícil entender estos asuntos del griego del Nuevo Testamento en traducciones de libros escritos para gente que habla otro idioma diferente al español, pues ya es suficiente con el esfuerzo de centrarse en el griego, para tener que pasar por otro idioma --que no sea español ni griego--para tratar estos temas.
